As an Electrical Designer, you will report to the Head of Engineering and work closely with Project Management and other engineers. You are an essential link in the design and technical development of our industrial energy projects. You are responsible for the design, development and management of electrical installations within the low, medium and high voltage segments. You support the engineering team and ensure that our designs are technically correct, safe and in accordance with the applicable standards.
Your responsibilities:
Design and development of electrical diagrams for LV, MV and HV installations
Reading, understanding and evaluating detailed electrical plans
Drawing and optimizing electrical and mechanical schematics
Manage and update schedules, index plans and plan lists
Ensuring that all designs comply with standards, legislation and safety regulations
Providing technical support to fellow engineers and project managers
Answering technical questions from customers and suppliers
Contributing to continuous improvement in the field of quality, safety and the environment (SHEQ)
Technical competences:
In-depth knowledge of electrical installations
Strong in technical drawing and diagram interpretation
Experience with drawing programs such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SEE Electrical and/or Eplan
Knowledge of Caneco
Smooth handling of software such as MS Office, ERP (Business Central/Navision), Prime Time and Phronesys
Professional knowledge of Dutch and English
Soft skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and flexible in execution
Team player who works smoothly in project environments
Clear and professional communicator towards colleagues, customers and suppliers
Customer-oriented and result-driven
Strong in planning and organizing
Good spatial awareness for complex technical schemes
Able to present and explain technical information clearly
Safety, Quality & Environment (SHEQ)
Active support of the quality, safety and environmental management system
Taking responsibility for complying with and following up on SHEQ measures
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
Education & certificates:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
In possession of (or willing to obtain):
BA4
VCA basis
Driving license B
Working in a growing and innovative organization.
